Man U earmarks FC Porto's James Rodriguez as replacement if Nani leaves Old Trafford

London, June 19(ANI): Manchester United have marked down FC Porto winger James Rodriguez as the perfect replacement for Luis Nani, if the Portugal international doesn't commit his future at Old Trafford.

The 19-times English champions are growing frustrated with Nani's repeated attempts to stall the signing of a long-term deal with the club, although he is tied with the club till 2014.

United have offered him a substantial pay hike taking his weekly wages to 130,000 pounds a week. The deposed Premier League champions, however, have already made contingency plans by lining up 20 million pound rated Colombian star Rodriguez.

The 20-year-old livewire winger has impressed United's scouts with his progress since signing from Argentinean side Club Atletico Banfield two years ago. (ANI)
