UEFA president Platini eulogizes Poland, Ukraine for being excellent Euro hosts

London, June 19(ANI): Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) president Michael Platini has said Ukraine and Poland have already won the Euro Championship for the brilliant work they have put up as host countries for this year's Euro Cup.

Despite disenchantment on the pitch for Poland, and Ukraine's hopes of reaching the quarterfinals hinging on victory over England tonight, Platini said both countries could be proud of what they had delivered.

"It's not been perfect but I'm very, very happy," The Daily Express quoted Platini, as saying.

"The atmosphere in the stadiums has been 99.9 per cent fantastic. It's difficult to do better than we have done, but doing better would mean perfection," he added. (ANI)
