Nancy Dell'Olio defends masseur accused of sexual assault

London, June 18 (ANI): Nancy Dell'Olio has come out in support of the masseur, who has been accused of sexually assaulting his clients, claiming that he was a victim of "female hysteria."

The glamorous Italian lawyer, who has dated Swedish football manager Sven Goran Eriksson, said that 18 female clients who accused Daniel Pytlarz of groping them must be "quite inhibited people."

'Strictly Come Dancing' star Dell'Olio, one of the Polish-born masseur's celebrity clients, insisted that he never behaved "inappropriately" in four years of treating her.

"I think the women who accused him of wrongdoing probably didn't know what to expect from a full-body massage," the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

"Of course, you have to take your clothes off. What did they think? That you did it fully dressed? Perhaps, they are quite inhibited people, who feel awkward when touched.

"All my instincts and knowledge of the man say he was the victim of female hysteria," she said.

Pytlarz, 35, was found not guilty on Thursday of more than 20 charges of sexual assault and assault by penetration after a trial at London's Southwark Crown Court.

Among the women who claimed he attacked them at his clinic in St John's Wood, north-west London, were a former aide of Sir Paul McCartney.

The former Beatle's daughter Mary was also a client.

Pytlarz admitted that his massages are "sensual".

"When I massage, I really focus, feel the vibes, the energy.

"And physically I'm attached, my thumbs, elbows, forearms. It is not like the massages the spas provide with a little hand waving around.

"It's sensual, by which I mean some people may be getting quite excited and not realise what is happening. A real massage is a powerful thing," he said. (ANI)
