London, June 18 (ANI): Former England football coach Fabio Capello has confirmed his interest in managing in a Premier League football squad.

With a vacancy at Tottenham following Harry Redknapp's departure, the Italian said a job in the top flight is something he is keen on.

The Daily Express quoted Capello, as saying, "I would be interested if the offer came for an important project - for a team that wants to achieve something significant and long lasting.

He added, "Wherever the offer is inspiring from a personal, professional and sports point of view (I would be prepared to go)."

Capello - who resigned as England boss in February - is at Euro 2012 as part of UEFA's technical team.

He confessed it was tough not managing any football squad. (ANI)
