Al-Qaeda criticizes Pakistan for demolishing Osama's house

Cairo, Mon, 18 Jun 2012 ANI

Cairo, June 18 (ANI): An Al-Qaeda leader has criticized Pakistan for demolishing Osama bin Laden's house in Abbotabad to prevent it from becoming a shrine.

Ayman al-Zawahri also issued his 10th message to Egypt, urging it to cancel its peace treaty with Israel and to establish Islamic rule, News 24 reports.

In a 47-minute video that was posted on jihadi websites, he said the goal is to stop Israel from turning Jerusalem into a Jewish city.

He also charged Egypt's ruling military council of taking orders from the United States and called on the Islamic movements to unite against what he described as the secular American schemes that only seek to promote evil in Egypt. (ANI)
