Remodelling work to affect rail traffic in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad, June 14 (IANS) Train services between Delhi and Kolkata, Lucknow and other key cities will remain affected for the next five days -- June 15-19 -- due to remodelling work on the tracks, railway officials said Thursday.

According to a railway officialS, out of 240 trains using the tracks, 14 trains have been cancelled, the routes of 10 trains diverted, the services of 13 trains shortened, and 27 trains would remain regulated.

The trains including Lucknow Mail, Mussoorie Express, Dehradun Express, Jammu Tawi Express, Purshottam Express and Rewa Express have been diverted to other tracks, an official said.
