Two Indians to officiate in Olympic boxing

New Delhi, June 13 (IANS) The International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA) has selected India's Kishen Narsi and Jay Kowli to officiate in the London Games.

The Indian Amateur Boxing Federation (IABF) in a statement said Wednesday that Narsi will be participating as International Technical Official (ITO) while Kowli will be referee and judge in the 2012 Olympics.

Narsi, an AIBA Executive Council (EC) Member and Vice Chairman - WSB Commission AIBA, will have, after the London Games, the unique distinction of officiating in four Olympics. He has been a Referee and Judge at Los Angeles (1984), Seoul (1988) and Barcelona (1992).

Kowli will be officiating in his first Olympics. Kowli has also officiated in many international tournaments including the AIBA World Championships, Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games.
