Hot Tuesday in Delhi, cloudy Wednesday likely

New Delhi, June 12 (IANS) The capital experienced a hot Tuesday with the maximum temperature settling at 42.3 degrees Celsius, three notches above average. The met department has forecast partly cloudy skies for Wednesday.

Tuesday's minimum temperature was 28.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average. The humidity levels hovered between a high of 57 percent and a low of 26 percent.

"The skies will be partly cloudy Wednesday, but there are no chances of rain. The maximum and minimum temperature will hover around 43 and 30 degrees Celsius, respectively," a met department official told IANS.

Monday's maximum temperature was four notches above average at 43 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled two notches above average at 30 degrees Celsius.
