Four killed in Bengal wall collapse

Kolkata, June 9 (IANS) Four people were killed and two others injured when a portion of a wall of an abandoned factory caved in on shanty dwellers in West Bengal's Howrah district Saturday, police said.
The accident occurred on Foreshore Road after a drizzle with accompanying gusty winds in the evening. The wall fell on shanties, killing four on the spot.
"Four people died. Two others are critical. They all lived in the shanties along the factory wall," said Howrah Town Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Nisad Perwez.
