London, June 7 (ANI): England captain Andrew Strauss has said he is not worried over fears that the harmonious environment in the dressing room might get disturbed following Kevin Pietersen and Jimmy Anderson related incidents.

England retained the Wisden Trophy with victory over West Indies at Trent Bridge, but since than there has been the saga of Pietersen's one-day retirement followed by the resting of in form Anderson from third Test at Edgbaston in spite of him being desperate to play.

Andy Flower might risk upsetting team's balance by telling Stuart Broad that he is also on the sidelines for the final Test, but Strauss has stressed everything is fine in the dressing room, and he is free from anxiety heading into the Edgbaston Test.

"I'm not worried about our harmony. I think in some ways Kevin is relieved it's all done and dusted and from a team point of view we're all keen to move forward," The Daily Mail quoted Strauss, as saying. The rotation policy is a bit of a tricky subject but we know that, with the current demands on our bowlers, they cannot play in every game," he added.

"This is probably the best opportunity we will get all summer to rest someone and if we are able to manage our resources better than other teams that will give us an advantage," he said.

The Edgbaston will be Pietersen's last game for England until mid-July but Strauss does not expect any reduction in his star batsman's commitment.I'm sure that one of the reasons Kevin made this decision is that he feels it will prolong his Test career and I still feel he's got a hell of a lot more cricket left in him for England," Strauss said.
