London, June 5 (ANI): Wayne Rooney's new horse Pippy flopped again, after finishing last for the second time in a row.

The England striker and wife Coleen stayed away from the race following the embarrassment of watching the two-year-old bay colt on its debut.

Coleen's parents Tony and Colette watched red-faced from a private box at Carlisle as Pippy trailed the field, the Sun reported.

Rooney bought the horse for 63,000 pounds in April.

It is one of three horses owned by the Manchester United star.

He is yet to pocket a single penny in prize money from them. (ANI)
