Islamabad, June 3 (IANS) Around 62 percent of Pakistanis say they purchased just one pair of shoes for personal use during the last one year, according to a survey.

A Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan found that 21 percent Pakistanis did not purchase any shoes at all last year, the News International reported.

Around 17 percent people did not have a view-point to the question: "In the last one year, how many pairs of shoes did you buy for your personal use?"

The survey was carried out among a sample of 2,657 men and women in rural and urban areas of four provinces of the country during May 6-12.

Established in 1980, Gallup Pakistan is the sole representative of Gallup International in the country.
