Lightning kills four in Bangladesh

Dhaka, May 30 (IANS) At least four people were killed and one was injured after lightning struck them in Bangladesh's Dinajpur district Wednesday, police said.

Four people, including a middle-aged woman and her younger brother, were killed and another was injured in a rural village of the district Wednesday morning, Xinhua reported a police official as saying.

The woman and her brother were inside a thatched cottage while the rest were out of their houses when the lightning strikes hit them, the official added.
