They were brought to the city five months ago from different parts of India and Nepal one after another by a 26-year-old man, a police official said.

The man, identified as Raju, brought them here on the pretext of marriage and forced them into flesh trade, the official added.

Three of the victims were from Nepal, one from Pune (Maharashtra), one from Karnataka and one from West Bengal.

They were rescued during a police raid in the G.B. Road area.

The official said the victims had been handed over to Child Welfare Commission and the search was on for Raju.
