'Animal lover' Eva Longoria to endorse cat food

Melbourne, May 27 (ANI): Eva Longoria has reportedly sealed the deal to be the international face of 'Dine' cat food.

The 'Desperate Housewives' star doesn't have a pet cat, but she claims to be a big cat lover.

"I am a big cat lover. I grew up with a lot of cats on a ranch." The Herald Sun quoted her as telling The (Sydney) Sunday Telegraph.

"I'm just an animal lover in general. I really like the Dine campaign because it's kind of quirky," said Longoria as she returns back from Cannes Festival.

Talking of the brand that she will endorse, the 37-year-old actress revealed that she is quite particular about the brands she get associated with.

"I'm actually very picky about the products I endorse. I am really particular about where I lend my name. This just felt like a perfect match," Longoria said of the Dine deal.

Longoria, who wrapped up her show Desperate Housewives about a month ago, also intends to campaign for Barack Obama to secure another term as president. (ANI)
