China busts gang that sells illegal firearms

Beijing, May 25 (IANS) Police in southwest China have busted a gang involved in the illegal online sale of smuggled firearms, authorities said Friday.
A huge cache of guns, bullets and gunpowder that were smuggled into the country since 2010 has been seized, the Nanning Municipal Public Security Bureau said.
Fourteen people, including three gun dealers, have been so far, Xinhua reported.
The Chinese law bans private ownership of firearms.
