Thiruvananthapuram, May 23 (IANS) Even the ruling Congress Wednesday came out against the petrol price hike.
"We will request the centre to see that something is done because the hike is going to hit the common man," said state Congress president Ramesh Chennithala.
The CPI-M and BJP also hit out at the government. The left Democratic Front has called for a day-long strike in Kerala Thursday.
