Penalty corner expert Sohail Abbas confident of Pak winning gold medal in Olympics

Islamabad, May 21(ANI): One of Pakistan's most popular hockey players, penalty corner specialist Sohail Abbas is confident of his team's chances of claiming a gold medal at the London Olympics.
Abbas has been made the captain of the Pakistan hockey team, and would lead the team in the upcoming Azlan Shah Tournament in Malaysia and during the London Olympics.
Abbas, who the highest goal scorer in the history of international field hockey, with 328 goals under his belt, has said the players are working very hard to perform well in the Olympics.
"InshaAllah (God-willing), we have a very good chance of winning the Gold in Olympics. I am confident that we (our team) will put in their maximum effort in training and that will be visible through our performance," Abbas said during an interview with PakPassion.net
"While having complete faith in Allah, and working hard in training and going with the positive intent of performing, we can be very hopeful of having a good chance. Our job is put in the effort, which is in our control, the rest is in Allah's hand," he added.
"With all help of the duas (prayers), we are confident that as a team we will perform well and will strive to improve our rankings to be in the top four," he said. (ANI)
