Noel and Liam Gallagher reconcile differences over Man City title win

London, May 21, (ANI): Feuding brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher are in "friendly text contact" after almost three years since the break up of their band Oasis - thanks to Manchester City winning the Premier League.

Since the group's break-up Noel, 44, and Liam, 39, have exchanged insults in the press with the guitarist even threatening to take legal action against his older sibling.

"They were both over the moon when City won and messages were exchanged," the Daily Express quoted a mutual friend as saying.

"It took something like that to break the ice and they've also been in touch since by text," the friend added.

While Liam was at City's Etihad Stadium to witness his team win, Noel, who was on tour, watched the game in a bar in Chile.

"Things are never going to be lovey dovey between them but the fact they're communicating is a start," the source said.

According to reports, the pair are reforming Oasis to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their second album '(What's The Story) Morning Glory' in 2015. (ANI)
