Sunny day in Delhi

New Delhi, May 21 (IANS) It was a sunny start to the week in capital Monday with the minimum temperature settling at 27.7 degrees Celsius, one notch above the average. The met department has forecast partly cloudy skies, accompanied with dust or thunderstorms later in the day.

 

"It will be partly cloudy skies with a possibility of dust or thunderstorms towards the evening. The maximum temperature should be around 42 degrees Celsius," an official at the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) told IANS.

 

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 34 percent.

 

Sunday's maximum and minimum temperatures were 41.4 and 25.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
