West Ham grabs Premier League promotion by beating Blackpool

London, May 20 (ANI): West Ham United beat Blackpool 2-1 in the 2012 Championship play-off final at the Wembley to get promoted in the Premier League.

West Ham striker Kevin Nolan carried the greatest prize in world football of 90 million pounds along with the promotion to the Premier League.

The Upton Park club's manager Sam Allardyce was seen backing his players, who claimed the terrific win over the Lancashire team.

Interestingly, exact 47 years to the day, West Ham's Bobby Moore lifted the Cup Winners Cup trophy here in North West London. (ANI)
