West Ham manager Allardyce believes PL qualifying play-off superior to CL final

London, May 19(ANI): West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce believes his team's 90 million pound worth play-off final against Blackpool at Wembley on Saturday is bigger than the Champions League final between Chelsea and Bayern Munich in Munich, as the livelihoods of many people are at stake.

"The Champions League final is a glory game but this is about your livelihood and about your status. One is a major tournament but this one is about changing people's lives,' the Sun quoted Allardyce, as saying.

"If we have to cost cut across the board because we don't get up, we will cut our cloth accordingly on the basis of what income is coming in. So that's why we'll be trying so hard to make sure we get up this time," he added. (ANI)
