Hot Saturday in Delhi, mercury to rise further Sunday

New Delhi, May 19 (IANS) It was a hot, sunny Saturday in the capital with the maximum temperature settling a notch above average at 40.8 degrees Celsius.
"The day's minimum temperature was three notches above average at 29 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The humidity levels wavered between a high of 40 and a low of 16 percent.
According to the IMD, Delhi will get no relief from the hot weather Sunday, with no rains in store. The skies however, will remain partly cloudy.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 43 and 29 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Friday's maximum temperature was 38.2 degrees Celsius and the minimum 27.3 degrees Celsius.
