Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav reviews law and order in UP

Lucknow, May 18(ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Friday presided over a high-level meeting of bureaucrats and police officials to review the law and order situation in the state and to discuss measures to improve the same.
"We have discussed the measures to develop Uttar Pradesh improve the law and order. They will have come on time to address the grievances of the people," Yadav told reporters here.
Akhilesh Yadav was elected chief minister of Uttar Pradesh after the Samajwadi Party registered a victory in the March assembly elections.
He had said that tackling the law and order would be a priority for his government.ANI)
