New Delhi/ Patna, May 18(ANI): The entrance examination results of the coveted Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), declared on Friday have brought cheer to Patna, as 27 students from the city based Super 30 institute have once again made it to elite institutions.
Students and staff at the institute celebrated their success by offering sweets to each other.
Anand Kumar, founder-director of Super 30, credited the hardworking students and the teachers for the success.
"The students are very hardworking and they used to study for 14-15 hours daily. I would also credit my team of teachers like Rahul, Amit and Praveen," Kumar said.
The students were a happy lot too, and they thanked their parents and faculty for their success.
"I have qualified in the IIT entrance exams and we are celebrating our success. My father is a clerk and my family is not financially well off but my father has worked very hard to give us good education and I am very happy that I have fulfilled his dream," said one of the successful students, Meenakshi Kumari.
Super30, established in 2002, provides free coaching to students with limited resources.
The institute also featured in the Time magazine's 'Best of Asia 2010' list. (ANI)
