London, May 18(ANI): England international Theo Walcott's brother and father have said they won't visit Ukraine for the Euro Cup out of fear of Nazi thugs targeting black fans.
Ashley Walcott and father Don will now shore up Theo from home instead, and believes some things aren't worth taking risks in life.
Ashley slammed football chiefs for staging Euro 2012 in an East European country, which is disreputable for its extremist soccer hooligans.
"Unfortunately my dad n i have taken the decision not to travel to the Ukraine because of the fear of possible racist attacks confrontations," The Sun quoted Ashley's tweet, as saying.
"Some things aren't worth risking, but begs the question why hold a competition of this magnitude in a place that cannot police itself for foreigners of any creed to feel safe, but I'll be watching every minute," he added.
"Racism has no place in the modern world," he further tweeted. (ANI)
