Islamabad, May 17 (ANI): Pakistan Foreign Minister, Hina Rabbani Khar has said in categorical terms that restoring NATO supplies is in the interest of Pakistan, adding that objections raised by the opposition carries no weight.
"The restoration of NATO supplies will be strictly in accordance with the resolution adopted by the Parliament," The News quoted Khar, as saying.
She said the issue of NATO supplies is not only related to Pakistan and the U.S., but is also linked to ties with 50 more nations.
"Pakistan wants an apology from America on Salala incident," Khar added.
She further said the invite to the Chicago Summit has no connection with the reopening of NATO routes.
"The Restoration of NATO supplies is in the interest of Pakistan. There is no hidden agreement behind the reopening of NATO routes," she said, adding that Pakistan would receive one billion dollars in Coalition Support Fund (CSF). (ANI)
