Gun battle continues at governor's office in Afghanistan's Farah province
Herat (Afghanistan), May 17 (Xinhua-ANI): A group of armed men entered the governor's office of Farah province Thursday morning and gun battle continues, a police officer said.
"A group of armed men entered the office of provincial governor in Farah city, the capital of Farah province, this morning and began firing. Gun battle between the attackers and security forces continues," Sayed Ahmad Sami told Xinhua.
Another official said on condition of anonymity that two to four people armed with light arms and suicide vests entered the office of governor in Farah city.
He also said that a blast and gunshots were heard in the area.(Xinhua-ANI)
