US slaps sanctions on Mumbai drug lord Dawood's key aides Shakeel and Memon

Washington, May 16(ANI): The United States has slapped sanctions on two key aides of mafia don Dawood Ibrahim, Chhota Shakeel and Ibrahim Tiger Memon.
The U.S. Department of Treasury described Shakeel and Memon as key assistants of Ibrahim in his notorious 'D Company' drug trafficking in South Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
According to The Telegraph, the Treasury Department also claimed Shakeel, 57, organizes D Company dealings with other organised crime and terror groups.
Memon, 52, takes care of D Company's businesses across South Asia and is also wanted by Indian authorities for his alleged involvement in the Mumbai bombings of 1993. (ANI)
