Robert Downey Jr. may team up with Tom cruise for political comedy

Washington, May 16 (ANI): Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Cruise are reportedly in talks to star in director Jay Roach's political comedy 'El Presidente'.

Warner Bros. Comedy tells the story of a Secret Service agent, who is tasked with the job of guarding America's worst former president.

Robert is expected to play the clumsy political figure and Tom has been linked with the role of the overzealous spy, whose banal job suddenly become exciting when a threat on the president's life forces the pair to go on the run together, Contactmusic reports.

The script of the movie will be written by Dan Goor. (ANI)
