London, May 16 (ANI): Robin Gibb, who is suffering from colon cancer, has not spoken for a week and is said to be communicating by blinking due to a tracheotomy tube in his neck.
The 62-year-old Bee Gees singer will also have to learn how to walk again after coming out of a 12-day coma in April.
Chemotherapy is on hold while he regains strength, the Sun reported.
Sons Robin-John and Spencer and wife Dwina remain at his side in a London hospital.
"His mind is sharp as a tack but his body seems to be failing," the Sun quoted a friend as saying.
"But Robin will not give up. And Dwina is determined he continue treatment," the friend added. (ANI)
