Whitney Houston to receive posthumous Millennium Award

London, May 16 (ANI): Whitney Houston will be honoured posthumously with the Millennium Award at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards.

The prizegiving event will be staged in Las Vegas on Sunday (May 20), the Daily Express reported.

The late singer, who died in February this year at age 48, will be also receive a tribute from John Legend and her Sparkle co-star Jordin Sparks, organisers of the event have announced.

The late star's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, and her sister-in-law, Pat Houston, will accept the award. (ANI)
