Melbourne, May 15 (ANI): A Nepali man who was named the shortest man alive earlier this year by the Guinness World Record wants to climb the world's highest peak, Mount Everest.
54.6cm tall Chandra Bahadur Dangi, who is in Sydney as part of a promotional tour by Nova FM, has just one wish and that is to climb to the summit.
"I'd love to see it, I've never been there," News.com.au quoted the 72-year-old as saying through a translator.
Completely unknown three months ago, Dangi shot to superstar status overnight when he was discovered in February.
At full stretch, he stands about the same height as a car tyre.
Dangi said becoming officially recognised as the world's shortest man had turned his life around.
"Before I had nothing to do, now life is more interesting," he said.
Carried around by his nephew for most of the day in a baby capsule, Dangi spent admiring the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House before being introduced to his very first koala and possum. (ANI)
