London, May 14 (ANI): British tennis champion Andy Murray has set his sights on the world No1 ranking this summer after declaring himself fit following his recent injury scare.

Murray appointed legend Ivan Lendl as his new coach in December and the Czech ace is preparing him for the French Open and Wimbledon after reaching the last four in this year's first Grand Slam in Australia.

The world No 4 returns to action this week for the traditional red-clay Rome Masters after a back problem.

He said: "I am feeling pretty good. I have taken 10 days off. I think the injury has fully cleared up - after six days it feels fine."

"We have the French Open, then Wimbledon and then the Olympics and it is then only a couple of weeks to the US Open," the Daily Express quoted Murray, as saying.

"The next four months are going to decide pretty much who is going to finish up No1 in the world," he added. (ANI)
