Oslo, May 13 (IANS) Vandals struck at Oslo's Vigeland Park Sunday morning, painting the park's popular sculpture the Little Angry Boy, known as Sinnataggen in Norwegian, with red paint.

Police are going through surveillance video recordings to look for those who had committed the vandalism, reported Xinhua.

The red paint was removed completely in the afternoon in a rapid cleaning-up operation.

The Little Angry Boy, a statue depicting a baby boy stamping his foot in fury, caused quite a stir when it was stolen in 1992.

The Vigeland Park, which features over 200 bronze, granite and wrought iron sculptures all by Gustav Vigeland, is the world's largest sculpture park by a single artist, and has become one of Norway's most popular tourist attractions.
