London, May 13 (ANI): Jermain Defoe has slashed the asking price of his six-bedroom mansion at Hertfordshire by 575,000 pounds, after it went unsold the past year.
The six-bedroom neo-Georgian mansion - built to the Tottenham Hotspur striker's design in 2007 - includes a games room, a cinema and an en suite dressing room, the Daily Mail reported.
His girlfriend at the time also demanded that a 200,000-pound kitchen be built.
His property, which last year was priced at 3,750,000 pounds, is now available for 3,175,000 pounds, also has a gym with a shower room and sauna, drawing and dining rooms, landscaped gardens and a gated entrance with high boundary walls.
The mansion is in the village of Cuffley, which has been nicknamed "Millionaires' Row" because of its collection of celebrity residents.
Famous neighbours include Defoe's Spurs and England team-mates Ledley King and David Bentley, while former Tesco chief Sir Terry Leahy and TV presenter Myleene Klass also live nearby.
Defoe, 29, who is dating former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, is planning to move to a recently acquired neo-Georgian mansion in Chigwell, Essex.
Boasting 7,000sq ft living space the home was built in 2007 to a "high specification" and is kept secure via "remote controlled gated entrance" with "high boundary wall." (ANI)
