30 women golfers scoop 100k pounds off lottery prize

London, May 12 (ANI): 30 women golfers, who jointly bought lottery tickets, have scooped almost 100,000 pounds off the Lotto.

The ladies clubbed together to buy their ticket and bagged 3,300 pounds each after matching five numbers and the bonus ball, the Daily Star reported.

They are members of the women's section at Pontardawe Golf Club, near Swansea, south Wales.

"We use the same numbers every week and we have only won a few tenners in the past," Retired teacher Pat Jones, 62, who has run the syndicate for eight months, said. (ANI)
