Washington, May 12 (ANI): Carrie Underwood has revealed that she understands the importance of space one should give to their spouse.
The Grammy- Award winner, who has been married to the 31-year-old hockey player Mike Fisher for almost two years, admitted that even though the duo likes to spend time together they know that the time apart is important too.
"While we love being together, we also realize time apart is important, so we try not to crowd each other. I love a good girls' night out just like he loves hanging out with his friends," US weekly quoted her as saying.
Underwood, who recently released her fourth CD 'Blown Away', has previously dated Tony Romo, Travis Stork and Chace Crawford, admits being exactly where she's meant to be with husband Fisher.
"I had my share of loves gone wrong. At the time, it seems like the world is ending, but then something great comes out of it and you realize everyone ended up exactly where they belong," she said.
Speaking more of her marriage to the Canadian hockey player, she revealed that her hubby has grown accustomed to her 'craziness'.
"I couldn't ask for a better husband and best friend.
"We don't bring our work home with us very often. Because we're so busy, we make our time together count, like by going on date nights.
"We're the most normal couple in the world. What I enjoy most is a quiet day at home with Mike and our doggies. We watch a lot of TV.
"While we love being together, we also realize time apart is important, so we try not to crowd each other. I love a good girls' night out just like he loves hanging out with his friends.
"Married life is wonderful, but we're not looking to have children any time too soon. Both of our lives are so crazy. Something would drastically have to change in our schedules before we can entertain the idea," she added. (ANI)
