Kelly Brook advocates cycling for fitness

London, May 10 (ANI): Kelly Brook is advising her fans to take up cycling to get healthy.

The girlfriend of former Scottish international rugby union player, Thom Evans, is a keen bike pedaller and is an ambassador for the Sky Ride project, in which cyclists take part in a huge simultaneous journey through city streets.

"I'm trying to encourage everyone to get back on their bike as it's healthy. We have a big Sky Ride event on July 15. There are 18 city events and I'm going to be in Manchester. It's basically all around the country," the Daily Express quoted her as telling on TV show 'Loose Women,' while launching the 2012 event.

The former Playboy model also revealed that she shuns hi-tech modern bikes in favour of a traditional model.

"I've got an old Pashley. You know the old-fashioned Pashley bikes? I've got a romantic idea of what cycling should be!" she added. (ANI)
