Kathmandu, May 9 (Xinhua-ANI): At least 20 people were injured in a road accident in Saptari district in eastern Nepal along the East-West Highway on Wednesday, local media reported.
According to the National News Agency RSS, the accident took place when a bus en route to Jhapa from Kathmandu hit a tractor from the back in the district, some 190 km east of Kathmandu.
Ten people who fell unconscious after the accident have been immediately sent to Biratnagar for treatment and the remaining injured are undergoing treatment at local clinic. Police have arrested the bus driver and impounded the bus and the tractor. (Xinhua-ANI)
