Kathmandu, May 6 (Xinhua-ANI): The death toll in avalanche in Annapurna range that triggered flood in the Seti River of western Nepal Saturday morning has reached 15, local media reported Sunday.
Many including three foreigners are still missing, reports said, adding the number of missing is estimated at more than 30.
According to reports, many of the recovered bodies are yet to be identified owing to the damages and mutilation that has been caused due to the flood.
Five of the victims were reportedly rescued alive from the flood.
The death toll is expected to rise.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai flew to the affected region on Sunday morning instructing rescue operators, and assure relief to the victims. (Xinhua-ANI)
