Nepali PM announces relief for flood victims

Kathmandu, May 6 (Xinhua-ANI): Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai announced relief packages to the flood victims of Seti River in Western Nepal.

The PM who visited the affected area Sunday morning announced that a relief package of about 1,500 U.S. dollars to the families of those who lost their lives in the flood.

Likewise, the PM also announced emergency package of around 300 dollars to those who have been homeless due to the flood.

The avalanche triggered flood which occurred in Kaski district of western Nepal which occurred on Saturday killed about 13 people with scores of others missing and leaving dozens homeless. (Xinhua-ANI)
