Former escort turned football boss arrested for 'threatening behaviour'

London, May 4 (ANI): The escort, who became the youngest ever chief executive of a football club last September, has been arrested for using threatening words and behaviour at an away match.

Carolyn Still, 29, was given a caution for her behaviour during non-league side Mansfield Town's match at York's Bootham Crescent stadium.

The attractive blonde, who got engaged to Mansfield's wealthy chairman two weeks after her appointment, was detained by the police midway through the play-off semi-final, which ended 1-1.

"A 29-year-old woman from Retford was arrested at 9pm on Wednesday 2 May 2012, on Grosvenor Terrace, York, for using threatening words and behaviour," the Daily Mail quoted a spokesman for North Yorkshire Police as saying.

"She was given an adult caution before being released," the spokesman added.

Still's fiance, John Radford, issued a statement which read: "Our dedicated and hard working CEO was involved in a incident in York toward the end of last night's game when she went to the aid of one of our first-team players, who was being ushered out of the stadium by a number of police officers.

"Disappointed by how our player was being treated, she was reprimanded for a verbal retort to a police officer.

'This incident has been blown totally out of proportion over a light-hearted, hot-headed quip in defence of our player. I commend the police for their common sense in dealing with the matter quickly and no charges have been made against our CEO. COYS (Come On You Stags)," the statement read. (ANI)
