Nupur Talwar moves apex court, challenges bail rejection

New Delhi, May 2 (IANS) Dentist Nupur Talwar, an accused in the murder of her teenaged daughter Aarushi and the family's domestic help Hemraj, Wednesday moved the Supreme Court against the rejection of her bail plea by a Ghaziabad court.
An apex court bench of Justice A.K. Patnaik and Justice J.S. Kehar had on Friday directed Nupur Talwar to appear before special CBI magistrate Preeti Singh on Monday. She did so and was arrested. Preeti Singh rejected her bail plea and referred the case to a sessions judge, who referred it to special CBI judge S. Lal.
Lal rejected the plea Wednesday.
