Becoming parents is greatest experience: Simpson

Los Angeles, May 2 (IANS) Singer Jessica Simpson, who has welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson with fiance Eric Johnson, says becoming parents is the greatest experience of their lives.

Maxwell Drew Johnson was born Tuesday and contactmusic.com reports that Simpson shared her feelings with fans through her website.

"Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson. We are so grateful for all the love, support and prayers we have received. This is been the greatest experience of our lives," she posted on her website.

Although she previously claimed she wanted to give birth in leopard-print, it is unclear if she fulfilled her wish.

"I just woke up from a dream that I wore a leopard caftan in the hospital. Fabulous!! Now I need to find one," she had tweeted last week.
