London, Apr 30 (ANI): Simon Cowell has been linked with the French beauty alleged to have bedded John Terry.

Vanessa Perroncel on Sunday confirmed her surprising friendship with the media mogul last summer.

It has emerged that he holidayed with Perroncel, who has denied having had an affair with the former England skipper, 31, after she split from his teammate Wayne Bridge, 31.

The music mogul flew the mum-of-one first class to join him on his private yacht in the South of France.

The pair spent a week on his boat Slipstream, outside St Tropez, with other guests including Cowell's ex love, singer Sinitta, 43.

Speaking from her Surrey home, Vanessa, 35, denied claims that she had a romantic relationship with 52-year-old Cowell.

"Simon and I are just friends. It was just a holiday and nothing happened. It was a vacation between pals," the Daily Star quoted her as saying.

Various such relationships have come to the fore since the unauthorised biography of Cowell, 'Sweet Revenge' by journalist Tom Bower came out.

During his holiday with Perroncel, Cowell was still engaged to make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy, 38, but they have since split.

It was claimed in the book that their relationship ended last year and he has bought her a 5million pounds home. (ANI)
