Wills-Kat 'walk down the aisle again' on anniversary weekend

Washington, Apr 30 (ANI): One year after their own marriage, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge got hitched yet again on Saturday - but this time as guests at the wedding of close friends Hannah Gillingham and Robert Carter at St. Andrews Church in Wingfield, England.

Prince William and Kate's first wedding anniversary was on Sunday.

"They were beaming," an onlooker told Us Weekly of Prince William and Kate.

Their entrance in the church even led to a bit of comic relief.

"They sat close to the front of the church, so they had to walk down the aisle together to get there."

"It made a few people chuckle."

Sporting a lace dress earlier worn last summer during the royal tour of Canada, Duchess Kate "looked tanned and beautiful," the observer asserted.

"Lots of people congratulated them on their first year anniversary.

"But they seemed quite keen not to take any attention away from the bride and groom," the witness added.

However, the couple did not party hard with their friends late into the night.

Instead, they travelled back to their cottage in Anglesey, Wales that night - all with the aim of waking up at home for their anniversary. (ANI)
