Coleen Rooney neighed when Wayne tried to name new racehorse after her

London, April 30 (ANI): Wayne Rooney wanted to name his new racehorse after wife Coleen, but dropped it after the unimpressed WAG gave him a stern neigh.

The football ace wished to call the nag Col Runnings in tribute to his wife as well as the 1993 bobsled flick 'Cool Runnings,' which was his favourite film as a kid.

"Wayne thought it was smooth and romantic to name it Col Runnings after her. Cool Runnings was his favourite film as a kid, so he thought combining it with Coleen was a winner," a friend of Coleen told the Daily Star.

"But she was having none of it and said no way. She asked him how he would feel if she bought a pig and named it Wayne.

"He got the point then and called it Pippy instead," the friend added.

To make sure his wife wasn't in a huff about it all, the footballer let Coleen pick Pippy's racing colours.

"He asked her to choose the colours that the horse will race in, and she went for pink and white. It's Coleen's dream to own a Grand National winner one day and they're hopeful that this will be the one that does it," the friend added. (ANI)
