Guwahati, April 28 (IANS) A joint team of Assam Police, Meghalaya Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Saturday arrested four suspected arms dealers from Gorchuk area of Assam's main city of Guwahati.

Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Longnit Teron told IANS that some sophisticated arms including an AK 47 rifle, rounds of ammunition, uniforms and four mobile handsets were also recovered from their possession.

While three of them - Dapblin S. Sangma, 53, Swit Star G. Momin, 35, and Alichum Sangta, 26 - hail from Dimapur in Nagaland, the fourth, Salgra G. Momin (21) hails from Goalpara district of Assam, Teron said.
