'Pak nukes' capability across India matter of concern': UN ex-envoy

Washington, Sat, 28 Apr 2012 ANI

Washington, Apr 28 (ANI): The former American Ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton, has expressed his concern about Pakistan's improving capabilities of delivering nuclear weapons in the wake of a successful missile test by the country.

Pakistan recently conducted a test launch of the intermediate-range ballistic missile Hatf IV Shaheen 1A weapon system, demonstrating its capability of carrying both nuclear and conventional warheads.

"This gives them a capability across India," The Nation quoted Bolton, as saying.

The missile, an improved version of Shaheen-1, is capable of hitting its target more accurately with improvements in range and technical parameters. (ANI)
